Fueled by experience, intuition and curiosity, Caroline Krouwels founded her own design studio Krouwels Fashion Concepts in 1996. Creative craftsmanship and entrepreneurial skills blended together. Supported by a talented team, Krouwels develops forecasts, creative strategies, communication concepts, product design and architectural briefs.
As Head of Creative of the Bijenkorf (2012 - 2017) she was responsible for the creative direction of Netherlands’ most established department store. Krouwels is also founder and creative director of business-to-business fashion trade event ‘de Modefabriek’. Furthermore, her seasonal perspectives on mood, behaviour and buying habits are published in the international trend magazine Textile View. Most recent prestigious project is the artist in residence ‘Room on the Roof’, an atelier in the tower of de Bijenkorf Amsterdam.
